Obituary for Jadean Paul "JD" Lowery

Jadean Paul ”JD” Lowery, 70, of Harrisonburg, passed away peacefully with his son by his side, on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at Sentara RMH Medical .

He was born in Harrisonburg, on October 23, 1947, and is the son of Ruth (Hartman) Gibbs and the late Jack Taylor Lowery.

He worked as a tree service foreman at Asplundh tree service.

He was married to Susan (Kraft) Lowery for Thirty Nine years. They were united in marriage on January 14, 1978.

JD was a hard worker and had a big heart. He will be remembered by his love for country music, especially Buck Owens and the song “They’re going to put me in the movies”; his love of gold and his rock collection. He is now the ‘star’ he always hoped to be. He did the best he could.

He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

There are no services planned at this time.
