COVID-19
The health and safety of the families we serve and the staff of Johnson Funeral Service are our highest priorities.
As news about COVID-19 (Coronavirus) continues to change, it is important to have a plan of action for the weeks ahead while the state is re-opening.
We are monitoring the public information closely, and we are working within the guidelines and recommendations from federal, state, and local public health agencies.
In-person meetings will be done by appointment at the funeral home with a limited number of attendees. Families who do not wish to come in for face-to-face arrangements may contact us by telephone or arrange for video conferencing.
Everyone entering Johnson Funeral Service in Bridgewater and Grottoes must have a personal space of 6 ft. between each other and you are encouraged to wear a mask.
We will be regularly wiping down all door handles, knobs, and community surfaces with a disinfectant periodically throughout the day. We will be regularly cleaning, stocking, and wiping down the bathrooms. Water fountain use has been discontinued, and bottled water is available.
Social gatherings will be made to give family and friends an opportunity for visitation to pay their respects but each visitation is limited to 10 people at a time.
Our families will be able to have a service in the chapel, but will be limited to 50% of seating capacity.
