Obituary for Emma Jean Stacy

Emma Jean Stacy, 75, of Staunton passed away Saturday, December 29, 2018 at King's Daughter Community Health & Rehabilitation Center.

She was born in Salamanca, New York on February 5, 1943, a daughter of the late Iva Vera (Seaward) and Percy Barley.

Emma had worked at Fanchers Furniture in NY, The Salvation Army Thirft Store in Salamanca, NY, High's in Penn Laird and Holly Farms before she became a CNA and worked at Avante, Western State, Liberty House, and Sunnyside Retirement Community.

She had been active in the Salvation Army Church where she was a Lt. in the Home League. She had attended Cross Keys Worship Center and Killbuck United Methodist Church in NY.

Emma had been a member of the Salamanca NY Moose Lodge, and was a Girl Scout Leader.

She is survived by two daughters, Rae Ellen Kyler, of Olean, NY and Twilla Bridges and husband Bryan, of Verona; a son, Rodney Stacy and wife Melissa, of Timberville; a half sister, Virginia Davis and husband Anthony "Tony", of Crimora; and a half brother, Theodore "Ted" Barley, of North Carolina. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, Angela L. Livoto, Brian M. Kyler, Bradley I. Kyler, Alyssa R. McGinnis, Ashley M. Sage, Faith L. Bridges, Hope R. Bridges, a step Grandson, Hunter Layman; ten great grandchildren, Warrick Kyler, Walker Kyler, Weston Kyler, Braeden Kyler, Kylie Kyler, Addison McGinnis, Remington McGinnis, Madison McGinnis, Dominic M. Livoto, and Paige Hannahs.

She was preceded in death by her companion Alvin Stacy and half brother, Robert Eugene Stacy.

The family wishes to thank the staff at King's Daughter Community Health and Rehabilitation Center and Legacy Hospice for their care of Ms. Stacy.
