Obituary for Lee Roy Price

Lee Roy Price, 83, of Bridgewater, passed away on Monday, April 22, 2019 at the Bridgewater Home.

He was born in Elkton on December 30, 1935, and was a son of the late Ralph Edward and Annie Catherine (Davis) Price.

Lee retired from Reynolds Metals in Grottoes. He attended Mount Olivet Christian Church in McGaheysville. He served his country in the US Navy.

Lee was united in marriage on December 5, 1959 to Wanda Lee (Kinkead) Price, who preceded him in death on April 22, 1986.

He is survived by his children, Belinda Price Williams and husband Daniel of Yorktown, VA, Greg Price and wife Laurie of Timberville, and David Price and wife Susan, of Dayton, his companion of 30 years Barbara Redifer, of Elkton; two sisters, Phyllis Price of Richmond, and Maxine Mitten of Chesterfield. Eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren also survive.

He was preceded in death by six siblings, Jeanna Meadows, Mary Pence, Della Morris, R.T. Price, Betty Holloway and Kathy K. Price.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 26, 2019 at 11:00 AM at the Dayton Cemetery with Rev. Wayne Wright officiating.

The casket will be closed.
