Obituary for Betty Lou Hevener

Betty Lou (Foley) Hevener, 66, of Bridgewater, passed away Saturday, November 11, 2017 at Sentara RMH Medical Center.

She was born in Harrisonburg on September 16, 1951, and was the daughter of the late W. M. and Edna Mae (Thompson) Foley.

Betty was a baker at Bridgewater College for over 30 years and retired in the spring of 2017. She was a member of the Stokesville Community Church where she taught the adult Sunday school class.

She was united in marriage on July 15, 1972 to Dale Hevener, of Bridgewater.

Surviving in addition to her husband are three sons, Jason Hevener and wife Karen Hevener, of Luray, Aaron Hevener, of Chesapeake, and Seth Hevener, of Grottoes; a brother, John Foley and wife Cheryl, of Harrisonburg.

A graveside service will be held at Mossy Creek Presbyterian Church Cemetery at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 with Angie Williams officiating.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Johnson Funeral Service in Bridgewater.
