Obituary for Leona Lam Miller

Leona Lam Miller, 92, of Grottoes, passed away Wednesday, January 24, 2018, at Waynesboro Manor.

Leona was born in Harrisonburg on March 17, 1925, a daughter of the late Nettie (Crawford) and Paul Lam.

She was a member of Grottoes United Methodist Church.

She was united in marriage to Carl Miller, who preceded her in death on June 6, 2004.

Leona is survived by a daughter, Judy Campbell and husband, Angus of Crimora; a son, Larry Miller and wife, Annie of Grottoes; two grandchildren, Dana Palmer and husband, Kevin of Charlottesville, and Jill Lemery and husband, Joe of Cape Charles, four step-grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, nine step-great-grandchildren, and four step-great-great-grandchildren.

She was the last of twelve siblings.

A memorial service will be conducted 11AM Saturday, Jan. 27th at Johnson Funeral Service in Grottoes, with Pastor Brian Posey and Rev. Arden Harner officiating. Burial will be private.
