Obituary for Minni Belle Monger

Minnie Belle Monger, 96, of Harrisonburg, passed away, Wednesday, January 31st, at Harrisonburg Health & Rehab Center.

Minnie was born in, Rockingham County on February 12, 1921; and was the daughter of the late William R. and Bertie (Landes) Meyerhoeffer.

She was a member of Mount Crawford United Methodist Church in Mount Crawford.

She was united in Marriage to Russell E. Monger on September of 1945, and he preceded her in death on June 30, 1983.

Minnie is survived by a daughter, Brenda Chandler and husband Garry, of Grottoes; two grandchildren; Donny Chandler (Meredith), and Terry Chandler (Amy); five great-grandchildren, Zachary Chandler (Courtney); Monica Stickley (Jamie); Kayla Chandler; Darion Chandler (James Ormine); and Alisha Morales (Sahid Chavez); and seven great-great-grandchildren; Tymber Chandler; Theo Chandler; Oliver Stickley; Skyler Stickley; Bryce Stickley; Aaron Stickley; and Avalyn Romine.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three sisters; Edith Kite, Starliss Meyerhoffer and Florence Kite and two brothers, Theodore Meyerhoffer, and Wilbur Meyerhoffer.

Services will be at a later date.
